Jason Hopper is the founder and Managing Director of Vector Consulting. He has had various roles in Australia, the United Kingdom and New Zealand; working in companies such as GE, Lion Nathan and the University of Canterbury. Jason has an MBA (University of Canterbury) with particular emphasis on group dynamics, leadership and quality assurance. He also holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Australia's Deakin University.
Jason has led successful ISO implementation projects, has been involved in in-depth research in the education sector, has considerable experience in accounting & finance, and has partnered entrepreneurs to ensure their personal goals are aligned with business goals. He is regularly involved in strategic planning for organisations, with a particular emphasis on an organisation’s “fit” with its strategy. He is passionate about aligning businesses to meet their goals, and uses his strengths in leadership, group dynamics and finance to ensure sustained success.

Megan Hopper is the Quality Adviser and co-director of Vector Consulting. Her background has included 14 years in healthcare, in roles such as Clinical Operations Manager and Quality Coordinator, with qualifications as a qualified Lead Auditor, NZQA8086 Quality Auditing and Quality in Healthcare. Megan is a member of the Joanna Briggs Institute for Evidence-Based Research and the New Zealand Organisation for Quality. She has a Bachelor of Nursing from Australia’s Deakin University.
Megan has led and managed successful Accreditation/Certification audits for clients, and continues to undertake quality auditing. Megan has also led successful projects, such as the implementation of new systems in health IT, business continuity management, health & safety and medicines management. She has a particular interest in helping organisations improve beyond compliance and is highly skilled in empowering teams to improve the service they provide.

Mike Pearson is an Associate of Vector Consulting. Mike's career has been largely international, working with clients across Europe, Africa, Middle East, United States, Asia and Australasia. Mike has been employed by some of the most well known names in the maritime world including Swire, International Chamber of Shipping (ICS), American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) and Inmarsat. He is a Master Mariner and holds a MBA (University of Canterbury) and MSc (London School of Economics). Mike's area of speciality is management and leadership in the maritime sector.Mike has led large audit teams that worked on behalf of various governments looking at the management of ships and shipping companies which often included ISO9000, 14000 and 18000 compliance. He has spoken at several international seminars on ship management and was responsible for putting together ICS international guidance on ship management (over 50,000 copies sold). More recently he has developed and implemented projects that covered risk management, management systems, change management and regulatory change.
